About the Artist

I am Micky, the portable version of my given name – Mihaela. I’ve been a doodler since I could first hold a pen in my hand and my first words were not mom or dad, these were “pele an foa” which I was using to refer to paper and a writing implement. These made-up words are not even remotely similar to the words used in my native language (Romanian) to refer to paper and pencil, yet they felt natural. Once in possession of these tools, I would sit at my small desk and doodle for hours on end.

Later I fell in love with the beauty of painted artworks and begun practicing in acrylics.

As a lover of beauty and a Christian believer, my art and writing centres around nature, religion, and mythology.
