Hi!
My name is Micky, I am a psychology graduate with various work experiences in people-cantered roles. I’ve been a doodler since the first time I could hold a pen in my hand and my first words were “pele an foa” which I used to refer to paper and writing implement. These made-up words are mot even remotely similar to the words used in Romanian to refer to paper and pencil. Once in possession of these tools, I would sit at my small desk and doodle for hours on end.
Later I fell in love with the beauty of painted artworks but because I could yet afford the materials necessary to practice painting skills I resigned to using pencils and pens on lined paper, and the occasional blank paper. Yet, it was an improvement from the carpeting pen I would get as a kid to practice my skills.
Now, I am happy where my skills are but I will continue to improve them, and hopefully, I will get to study art and fulfill one of my earnest wishes. Because, for me visual arts, and more particularly beautiful visual arts are therapeutic and food for my soul.
